This project is an in-depth look at what makes people beautiful on the inside and the outside - both their appearance and inner selves.

I started this project with individuals that many would consider physically beautiful - from people I approached on the street to professional actors and models.

The deeper we look, the more beauty we can find.

Starting with those chosen mainly for their outward appearance, I was very favorably impressed by the many beautiful things they said - and a wide range of admirable goals they work to achieve in their personal and professional lives. This helped inspire me to change the scope of the project...

Now it's expanding - growth and change are good.

I'm including people working in diverse ways to create beauty. This includes both outsiders and those working from within mainstream society. Participants will include activists, artists, writers, philanthropists and others working towards positive changes in their lives and the world around them.

Together, we're examining images and ideas of attractiveness, glamour and integrity - looking at people who are very beautiful, finding both beauty and beatitude. This is an opportunity for a diverse group of individuals to express themselves to the world.
